the one i mentioned was a long time ago so who knows what happened to it
[ that's true for the most part, at least ]
no subject
If I ever come into possession of one through Retrospec, I'll allow you to borrow it.
Does that sound alright to you?
no subject
why would you expect retrospec to give one to you
unless you're one yourself?
[ a phantom thief AND a detective all in one? that's totally unheard of in that dreamfes memory he just had ]
no subject
[... He hasn't told anyone. Sena's the first person he's telling. Jesus Christ. It's fine, at the very least, it's something he actually is genuinely excited about so long as he doesn't think of another memory he got and the point a to point b connection one can make from it.]
Though I appeared quite new to the group. Everyone's outfits were so fun looking... There was a talking cat as well.
[sena he's gotta be bullshitting you, like really, a talking cat]
no subject
[ no
no fucking way
because sena would normally assume that akechi's a different phantom thief from another world, but the mention of the talking cat just confirms that he's one of akira's thief friends as well
what the fuck is going on here ]
fun looking outfits, huh
well, so long as there's no capes i guess i can't judge too hard
no subject
You took to that rather well... Thank you for believing me.
And while there's nothing particularly offensive in that regard, mine has something like it? But they're short and triangular. I don't know if I can count them as a cape.
Oh, but one of them has a rather slick looking trenchcoat! I'm jealous of him, actually, though I'm certain he wears it better than I could.

at this point im just desensitized to everything so ok sure you're a phantom thief now on top of being an aspiring detective
that sure is one hell of a job description on you
short and triangular... that should be okay i guess? so long as it's not too long like a trenchcoat you just mentioned
which... im not too sure about, tbh. trenchcoats are cool and all but once again it's defeating the purpose of stealth
can't you guys change to
idk
more appropriate thieving attire?
no subject
Especially since he's an aspiring detective trying to capture them, actually, it was a case my other self... that I was working on, so I'm curious as to the circumstances surrounding that.
(I still don't like the whole reconstruction thing, frankly speaking, but I suppose I'll deal. He and I being the same person raises concerns.)
... I don't know if we can, actually; the cat (named Mona) said that those outfits are what we believe rebels to look like. My outfit is actually the odd one out of the whole of the group.
It's something like what a prince would wear: white as a whole, with gold and red accents. So not exactly traditional phantom thief wear, and he
I even say that it's my mental image of someone who sticks to their justice, which... is unusual, for the present me, but I can understand where the idea comes from. Princes are noble and just, chivalrous and kind, always looking out for someone to save or help.
Almost like a fairy tale.
Regardless: Maybe? There was talk of cognitive things, which deals more or less with perception, so I don't see why we couldn't. We just didn't.
no subject
that sounds kind of suspicious if you ask me
but maybe you guys are working together for something? idk
i don't really like prying into shit like this so let's talk about your outfit
judging from your description it does kind of look nice and regal?
though the fact that it's all white with bits of red and gold does set you apart from the usual PT archetype
but tbh i think it looks good on you
you... kind of have that charismatic air around you but that's just me
[ tbh he seems more like a knight than a prince - even more so than sena here. ]
no subject
Oh, it's not just you, I've heard the same from a few others.
... Though between you and I, I think I'd like to step away from the prince image. Airs or not, I'm not royalty in the slightest.
And I don't think a prince should so willingly throw himself into dangerous situations for anyone but his lord/lady fair. Recklessness doesn't suit that role. Even worse if he enjoys the danger because it's a little fun, you know? It isn't like a prince at all.
[god he actually really loves destroying his enemies, absolutely curb-stomping them, give him that power-hungry feeling.]
no subject
hm
in this case, wouldn't you be more of a knight?
knights also fight for their chosen royalty, and depending on who they are, they can also be ruthless, jumping into duels and battlefields without a care of who they're fighting with, so long as they get to satisfy that bloodlust
[ ... ]
but even that seems too mean for someone like you, akechi
you're too nice for that kind of description either
might as well play up that prince thing of yours while you can
