He's just also greedy.]
... Well, I suppose there are a few things I'd like. Does it specifically have to be in wish format?

... I'm moving out of my house to live with some others (hopefully by the end of the month), and I'm worried about my mother. If you truly are a benevolent god, Yato-san, may I ask that you keep an eye on her? She works very hard and I won't be around to cook anymore.

oh no
What a pure wish, Yato is IMMEDIATELY TOUCHED... He thought Goro was a punk, but now he is at least a considerate punk son. And it's a wish made all the more perfect by the fact that cooking happens to lie among Yato's many talents.
What should he say now... Maybe he should tack on a catchphrase? ]
Goro Akechi, your prayer has been heard!
All I'll need is your mother's current address.

He'll give it, jotting down a note for himself to mention that Yato's something like a friend of a friend who'd offered to ensure her continued well-being and knowing that his mom won't be happy about it anyway.]
If she asks, you're a friend of a friend. I'll let you know when I've moved out so you can take my place, Yato-san.
As for your fee... that's an unusual sort of thing for a god to ask for, but times are hard even for those like yourself, aren't they? You're certain you wouldn't prefer money?
no subject
I'm not a charity case! I'm a working member of society too!!
Are you saying you'd rather pay money than believe in me?? (._.)
no subject
I didn't mean to imply such! Just that it's more customary to give offerings of money.
... but no, if all you ask is for someone to believe in you, then I'll do that. You have my utmost gratitude, Yato-san.

You're welcome! ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆
And if you want to continue to show your gratitude in future, offerings can be left at my shrine inside the Inkwell.
[ And to his credit, Yato will do a good job of looking in on Goro's mother and doing little chores around her place to lighten her load. Little by little, to the point where she might start to doubt her sanity when she slowly notices the house cleaning itself BUT THAT'S NOT YATO'S PROBLEM. Also he will leave her hearty, lovingly home-cooked food every once in a while and stick Goro's name on it so she doesn't question too much. ]
