[... That sounds too cool and too personal, so he adds on:]

I'll give them a passive-aggressive lecture they won't forget.

[...You know, he believes it. But at the same time-]

Come on, you had a good thing going there. You could have added some cool line about making them disappear and be done with it.

[... This beat in conversation goes on a little longer than before, thoughts ticking back to July: "I managed to dispose of any who got in my way. Though it took some time for me to finally do so..." Just what am I -- is he involved in?]

[...That Goro from his memories is pretty intense. It's difficult not to look up, really, and the fact that what he said was obviously not the right thing to say just makes everything all the more difficult.]

[Goro's blessedly keeping his eyes to himself -- or rather, to the hands cupped in front of him.]

Doesn't it? Though I think I'd get more aggressive if my friends were in some kind of danger... I've found a certain thrill in fighting over last month.

[...It's not nearly as thrilling as the life or death stuff, but that's not the point.]

Perhaps. But I knew I would lose then. Now... I'm strong enough to conquer anything.

[... Except his own feelings. There's a certain tone he has when he says that though, an excited quiver to his voice, gleeful in a way that Silver probably hasn't seen before.]

[...He stops in his tracks and puts his hands on Goro's shoulders. This is different, and it's different in a good way, but really, what the hell is he supposed to say to that, other than-]

[You have done him no wrong? In fact, you've been exceedingly good to him.]

[... Well, alright. It's telling how different this Goro is from two months ago, from the years they've known each other, because there's no more hesitance after that initial protest; he's not holding back, he's notably stronger as well, and it'd very much aimed for Silver's side.]

[feistytrader]

[It's so different that Silver doesn't expect it at all, doesn't try to dodge or at least move so it hurts him less, and for a good long moment he stares at Goro, unable to process that this really just happened, until-]

[He's still confused, but there's also no questioning the excitement building in his eyes.]

[So first of all get fucked nerd

But more importantly, partway through their fist fighting, Silver realizes something and stops for a moment.]

What are we doing?

[He puts some distance between him and Goro and grabs a Pokéball, tossing it casually into the air and looking much, much more eager than he did while they were fist fighting.]

You have one of those guys that comes out of your head, right? Let's make things interesting.

[twostringsonebow]

[You bitch.

-- But oh, oh, that sounds like fun.]

Only if you're prepared to lose, Silver. [Is it a requirement to be dramatic? No, but it's fun. Goro raises a hand up:] Come, Robin Hood!

[The archer appears in blue flames, brilliant and buff. Hello Silver.]

[Holy shit. There's... A lot that follows in his thought bubble, but none of it is particularly coherent and it's all well outshone by all the little stars sparkling in it.

But he shakes his head. This is business. Should they really be doing this out in the open? Who cares. Silver has a vague understanding by now that when you release your Pokémon is important, but out comes Kingdra anyway, because grandstanding and being dramatic is a battle in of itself at this point.]

You ready, Princess?

[What the hell is this thing. Oh, who cares? She gets to beat it up, and that's what matters. In the meantime, Silver's pulling out, uh, whatever the fuck these are and putting them on...?]

[The fuck are those. Robin Hood's loading an arrow, light shining brightly in its tip, but Goro's just Staring for the moment.]

Are you cheating?

[feistytrader]

How can I cheat? We don't have any rules.

[Although Kingdra knows exactly what's up, and after a brief moment, she sprays a bunch of smoke out of her snout. Covering everything in smoke may just be the textbook definition of cheating.]

[twostringsonebow]

No matter how you look at it, it's cheating!

[God!! Goro takes a step back, Robin Hood's keen eyes looking out for any movement in the smoke. He'll let loose an arrow the moment there's any.]

But very well, we'll defeat you no matter your tricks! Isn't that right, Robin?

[A nod!]

[feistytrader]

I think I'm just using her strengths to their fullest potential. But talk's cheap.

[There's silence, not a whole lot of moving, then... Movement. A stream of water? It's headed right towards Robin and Goro.

And then comes another one. And another. there's no way they can fire this accurately in the smoke, so how...?]

[twostringsonebow]

[Robin Hood can block the first, even the second, but by the third it's become apparent that something's up and Goro shakes the wet hair from his face. He racks his brain for the answer and remembers the odd looking goggles.

Could that be the answer?

Robin Hood spins with his bow in the immediate area, just to clear the smoke out a little, and chances a shot a little to the left of where the last blast of water came from. It'll cut clear through the smoke, but it's not a path that'll last with how the grey spreads out again. Goro just wants to get an idea of where they might be, a pattern or indication of direction.]

[feistytrader]

[Unfortunately, Silver's standing to the left of Kingdra, so that arrow hits him right in the shoulder, which sends him stumbling off balance. Kingdra may not make much noise moving around, but he sure as hell does, and when he realizes what Goro's game plan is, he goes for a revised strategy- to move as far away from Kingdra as possible, letting her know not to follow with an arm gesture.

Shit, that hurts. At least it fades out of his shoulder quickly enough. There will be time to figure out if that started bleeding or did weird magic stuff later.]
