this is rude

[ ... The anxiety builds up inside him when the question comes. It strums him like a chord, shaking his very core. Did he trigger the same memory in Goro? Does that mean... All of it is actually real? A threat to society... Is that what they are? He can't pass judgment without knowing the case in question.

Yet he remembers the conviction his other self had. That kind of confidence was strong enough to put him at ease despite Goro playing devil's advocate. He's still unsure on the subject yet already lost in the "justice" his other self held onto dearly. However, it's unnerving to know something like that might be possible and it's still holding onto his shaky opinion. He easily imagines people beside him changing... That friend that was so kind to him in the past changing overnight to scorn him.

With a nervous smile, he rubs his neck as he forces an answer. Morrigan, please come back.
